In 2022 LA SEO was awarded Google Ads Premier Partner based on the work that I had accomplished in Google Ads. I am very proud of accomplishing this with in my first few years of running Google Ads for LA SEO, I can now say I am an award winning SEM expert. We have been able to maintain our Premier status for the last few year and heading into 2024 we look to continue our performance for our clients.

    • Obtain certifications by passing the relevant exams on the Google Skillshop platform. Google offers certifications for various aspects of Google Ads, including Search, Display, Video, Shopping, and Measurement. You are required to have a minimum of 4 certifications. I currently have my Google Ads, Search, YouTube, Shopping, Display and Waze ads certifications.
  2. Meet Performance Requirements:
    • Google evaluates your performance based on the amount of ad spend, client retention, and growth. You need to manage a minimum 90-day ad spend of at least $10,000 across all managed accounts. This can be accomplish by combining several accounts ad spend under a MCC (Google Ads Manager Account)
  3. Adherence to Best Practices:
    • Demonstrate your knowledge of Google Ads best practices by following ethical guidelines, staying updated on industry trends, and adhering to Google’s advertising policies.
  4. Access the Partner Program Dashboard:
    • Once you meet the criteria, you’ll gain access to the Google Partner program dashboard. Here, you can track your progress, manage certifications, and access additional resources.
  5. Google Partner Badge:
    • After meeting the requirements, you’ll be eligible to display the Google Partner badge on your website and marketing materials, showcasing your expertise in Google Ads.

Achieving 2024 Premier Partner Status:

Only the top 3% of Google ads accounts are selected to be a Premier Partner. Google determines this by a number of factors, including: client growth, client retention, product diversification, and annual spend.

  1. Higher Performance Thresholds:
    • To achieve Premier Partner status, you’ll need to meet higher performance thresholds compared to the standard Google Partner requirements. This includes managing a higher ad spend across your managed accounts.
  2. Additional Certifications:
    • Premier Partners often have team members with advanced certifications. Encourage your team to obtain additional certifications to showcase a broader range of expertise.
  3. Performance and Growth:
    • Premier Partners are expected to demonstrate sustained performance and growth. This includes consistently meeting and exceeding performance targets, maintaining client satisfaction, and actively expanding your client base.
  4. Additional Criteria:
    • Google considers additional criteria such as the number of clients, retention rates, and client revenue growth when evaluating eligibility for Premier Partner status.
  5. Dedicated Support:
    • Premier Partners receive additional support from Google, including access to dedicated account management, advanced training opportunities, and early access to new features and products.
  6. Regular Performance Review:
    • Google regularly reviews the performance of its Premier Partners. Maintaining high standards and staying updated with industry trends is essential to retaining Premier Partner status.
  7. Compliance and Best Practices:
